Settantotto

Founded in 2022 by Thijs Dely and Layla Lavens, Settantotto is a contemporary art gallery located in a beautifully renovated townhouse in Ghent (Belgium). The gallery is dedicated to showcasing minimalist and abstract art, with a particular focus on post-war movements such as ZERO, as well as contemporary practices rooted in reduction, materiality, and spatial awareness.

Settantotto represents a thoughtful mix of emerging talents, mid-career artists, and historically significant figures. Its curatorial program emphasizes works that explore the boundaries between presence and absence, structure and silence—often through sculpture, drawing, and installation.

The gallery has a strong affinity for nature-inspired and conceptual art, offering a space where simplicity becomes a powerful tool for expression.
