Acclaimed photographer Jasper Zwartjes returns to the roots of the medium through the use of an analogue 8×10” view camera-large, weighty, and profoundly deliberate. Each photograph emerges from a slow, intentional process where every detail is composed with precision and care.

In this large-scale floral composition, Zwartjes turns his lens toward the quiet drama of transience: tulips on the verge of wilting, their fading forms revealing a tender beauty that lies between vitality and decay.
