Midnight Modern Series VII
Tom Blachford returns from a whirlwind trip to the USA with series VII of his iconic Midnight Modern series. 
Culminating his 16th trip to the desert modernism mecca in 12 years, Tom worked closely with home and car owners in the area to immortalise 20 new cars and architectural icons captured using only the light of the full moon between the hours of 10 PM - 4 AM. 
The images radiate mystery and beg the viewer the script their own drama behind the walls of each scene. 
Almost completely ambiguous of time the images exist in both the past, present and future at once.
Since his first trip to Palm Springs in 2013 Tom has worked to convey the feeling that first struck him, that he knew where he was, but not when.
