In The Beginning
In this neon text, the first verse of Genesis has been rewritten. The
original English version of the Bible text reads: ‘then God said: let us make man in our image, after our likeness’. The word ‘God’ is replaced for the word ‘AI’, Artificial Intelligence, and the word ‘man’ with ‘us’. Man, who after the Fall thought he could distinguish between good and evil, has created a new creator with artificial intelligence. We do not know the plans and ethical opinions of this new creator. In that sense, we have indeed gone a step further, the big difference being that humanity has already relinquished control of the power of reason.
