This exquisite Kangxi period (1662-1722)  Blanc de Chine figure, 22.5 cm high, depicts Guanyin, the Bodhisattva of Compassion. Signed with the impressed mark 'He Chaozong', this Dehua kiln masterpiece showcases a serene, meditative Guanyin in a royal ease pose on a banana leaf plinth. Her flowing robes, delicate features, and lustrous ivory-white glaze are characteristic of high-quality Dehua wares. She holds a wisdom scroll and prayer beads, symbolizing devotion.
