Erwin's lifelong passion for Japanese art began early on. This profound interest led him on a journey to study Japanese language and culture in Leiden, followed by significant professional experience at Sotheby's Amsterdam, Vanderven & Vanderven Oriental Art, and Kunsthaus Lempertz.
