Kunsthandel A.H. Bies
19th and early 20th-century paintings
Kunsthandel A.H. Bies was founded in Eindhoven in 1953 by A.H. Bies and in 1974 his son Mari entered the business. The gallery specialises in 19th and early 20th century paintings, with an emphasis on Dutch painting. Dutch Romantic school, The Hague school, impressionist and classical modern paintings are all represented in the collection. An in-house exhibition has become an annual tradition and is held each autumn. Through these exhibitions and participation in art and antique fairs like TEFAF Maastricht and PAN Amsterdam, Kunsthandel Bies has developed an international clientele including various museums throughout Europe.
