description
A platinum Ballerina ring centering an emerald-cut diamond (2.04 carats, H, VS2), surrounded by tapered baguettes (approx. 4 carats, F-G, VS). Pioneered by Oscar Heyman, this iconic mid-century design is meticulously engineered to mimic the fluid, billowing movement of a ballerina’s tutu, and was interpreted by great jewellery houses, such as Tiffany & Co,. and Boucheron. Each tapered diamond was custom-cut and precisely angled by a master setter to achieve a seamless, radiating ripple of brilliance. Numbered: 32442, attributed Oscar Heyman, USA, circa 1960.
