description
The finely potted bowl is supported on a short tapering foot. The exterior is brightly decorated in rich underglaze cobalt blue with four archaistic dragons above a band of stylised waves, reserved against a vibrant yellow enamelled ground. The interior is simply finished with a pale bluish-white glaze and centred with a small floral spray enclosed within double circles. The base bears an underglaze-blue mark of composite Buddhist emblems enclosed within a double square and double circle.
