The Feast of All-Saints is depicted at the centre of this icon. Christ is enthroned within a radiant mandorla, flanked by the Mother of God and John the Forerunner. Around them stand angels and large groups of saints, including apostles, bishops, martyrs, kings, prophets and monks. Paradise is depicted below, with Abraham and the penitent thief carrying his cross.
Surrounding the central scene are twelve important ecclesiastical feasts, beginning with the Annunciation and the Nativity of Christ, followed by, among others, the Crucifixion, Resurrection and Ascension of Christ.
