Het wapen op het schild is dat van de Hollandse Sweers familie. Dit schild is besteld door Balthasar Sweers (Amersfoort 1653 -1703), in 1685 Secunde in Japan, op Decima en van 1789 tot 1791 Opperhoofd van de VOC handelspost in Japan op Decima.
