Chokunyû was famous Nanga painter involved in the founding of Kyoto’s Prefectural Art School. In due course he became its first director. Chokunyû also helped to establish the Japanese Nanga Society. He was a pivotal figure in sencha, tea ceremony circles in Kyoto and Osaka.

Detail Description
