Otafuku, or Okame is a goddess for prosperity. She is depicted as a " mummy" and saves you from unpleasant things.

During the 19th century, Zeshin was an important painter in the Shijô tradition and an even more important lacquer artist. In 1873 and in 1876, his work was shown at major exhibitions in the West.
