Pino Deodato's 'Libraries' are sometimes intended as sources of knowledge, sometimes portrayed as trenches behind which man hides. In these sculptures, the artist places his small figure - recurring in most of his works - as he tries to take possession of all human knowledge, believing he can find the great Truth of the world in that knowledge.
