During the years she has photographed, Marie-Jeanne has discovered what touches her most deeply - the layer below the surface, the silence and the simplicity. In this way she has developed her own unique style. She likes timeless photos that give space to one's own imagination, thoughts and feelings as can be seen in her series 'At the window' and her staged still lives, the 'Contemplation' series. These works have a painterly quality.
