Carlos Cruz-Diez's kineticism is based on colour vision. The artist discovered that he could filter physical colours from red and green and, by simple addition or subtraction of these, produce the entire colour spectrum. Cruz-Diez worked all his life to adapt and evolve this discovery into his future research.
