Detail Description

"Fauno" illustrates the namesake mythological figure with a nymph with whom he is supposed to be dancing. The reminiscence of classicity is underlined by the greek temple in background, the color of the temple is related to the yellow of the pavement where the lines recall the sinusoidal movement of the volutes of the capitals. Adami seeks the active involvement of the viewer, who is invited to move his or her gaze throughout the painting.
