Detail Description

Wolfram Ullrich works on closed polyhedra where the colour occupies only the upper face while the side, the thickness, leaves the steel grey exposed. The colours are vibrant and the application of glazing gives a soft and perfect texture. The works stand out on the wall, deceiving the eye and the senses of the viewer. Although the works are set up on the wall, Ullrich's works are conceived as 'objects', which is why they should be viewed from all sides, not just from the front.
