Execution: H.P. Mutters & Sons, The Hague.

Material: Teakwood, inlaid with coromandel wood, the legs adorned with brass accents. The upholstery is of a later date.

Dating: 1917-1919

Description: The three salon chairs, along with a table, were presented by Berlage in 1925 at the World Exhibition in Paris. The chairs were privately owned and were recognized, documented, and extensively discussed by Rob Driessen in 2010, as featured in the Art and Antiques Journal "Collect" (2010/8). One chair was exhibited in 2010 at the H.P. Berlage - Architect and Designer exhibition at the Hague Municipal Museum.
