Kartini Thomas is an American artist and ceramicist based on the Island of Oléron off the Atlantic coast of France. She graduated from Reed College (Portland, Oregon) in Biology and from the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
Each of Thomas’ sculptures is modular and fuses delicious layers of texture and color and a playful approach to contemporary art and craft.
